Histon & Impington Shared Car Club operates in villages near Cambridge

Owning a car can be expensive, and a hassle… repairs, servicing, tax, insurance, losing value… and much of the time it’s sitting unused. But what if you could share these costs? What if you had the convenience of a car when you need one, without the inconvenience and expense of owning one?

HiCar is a new community co-operative with an answer. We already have a shared car up and running successfully. There is a lot of interest, and we plan to expand to more soon. We offer cars parked conveniently around Histon and Impington to be used by our members on an hourly or daily basis. HiCar is non-profit making and owned by its members, so prices are as low as £2-£3 per hour, less for longer periods, and our per-mile charge includes all your fuel.
